Antique umbrella, 19th century, carved ivory handle
Antique umbrella. Umbrella of the mid-nineteenth century called “marquise umbrella”. Nice handle entirely in carved ivory. The upper part of the handle is made of wood. A sliding metal ring folds the umbrella for storage. The silk and the lace has been changed, by the parasolerie Heurtault in Paris https://parasolerieheurtault.com.
An antique lace was used for the restoration. The umbrella is 24,80″ long and the silk is 20,86″ in diameter. It is in perfect condition and can be used.
