Chinese Fan for export, “thousand faces”. Rare paper leaf, painted terraces on which we discover 40 characters with ivory heads are and silk clothing. On the reverse three cartels painted landscapes. Mounted in ivory, engraved on the end of crustaceans on one face and a fich and a shell on the other. It measures 8,86″ closed and 16,53″ in open diameter. China for export to Europe, circa 1910.
