Antique Fan, Mother-of-pearl, Gouache, Lace, Late 19th Century

Antique fan. Beautiful frame in mother-of-pearl engraved, pierced, gold and silver. Leaf in tulle embroidered with sequins and in the center in silk painted with a Venus surrounded by putti. Rhine stone rivet and belière. Note a small slit on each of the main sticks visible in close-up on the photos but not very visible to the eye. the whole fan is in very good condition. It measures 9,05 inches closed and 17,12 inches in diameter open. France circa 1895.
