Antique fan, Louis XVI period. The leaf is hand painted paper. In the center a bagpiper and his young gallant. The frame is in finely engraved ivory and painted with flowering branches, foliage and Asian characters. It measures 10,63 inches, and 19,29 inches in diameter.
